Sell Used MCCs & Motor Control Centers

Replacing a motor control center or closing a production area? American Industrial Supply Co. reviews MCC equipment for recovery and resale, from individual buckets to larger lineups.

Sell MCCs

Describe the complete motor control center

An MCC is more than its outer enclosure. The lineup, bus ratings, starter or feeder units, drives and other installed components all help define what is available. Tell us whether you are selling a complete motor control center, selected sections, spare buckets or a mixed motor-control lot.

Include drawings or a bucket schedule if they are available. State whether the MCC is still in service, scheduled for retirement or already removed. For larger assemblies, site access and the removal deadline belong in the initial discussion alongside the equipment list.

Questions from sellers

Sell MCCs FAQs

Can I sell individual MCC buckets or only a full lineup?

Submit either type for review. Identify the manufacturer and series, describe each bucket or section, and note the devices and accessories included.

What information is needed to evaluate a used MCC?

Provide lineup nameplates, voltage and bus ratings, section and bucket counts, condition, location and photos. Drawings or schedules can help explain the configuration.

Should I dismantle my MCC before requesting a review?

Start the conversation while the equipment is still identifiable as a complete assembly. Describe its current state so the team can discuss the sale and any removal requirements before you change its configuration.

How are MCC pickup and removal handled?

Access, disconnection status, dimensions, weight information and timing need to be reviewed. The responsible parties and the scope of removal and transport are agreed as part of the project.
